Privacy
RenterPack helps you prepare application materials for a specific listing. This page explains how the current MVP handles your information.
What you enter
You may enter rental listing links, pasted listing text, renter profile details, document-readiness selections, and notes about a rental application. You should not paste sensitive document numbers, passwords, full bank statements, full identity documents, or your Social Insurance Number.
Local storage
The current RenterPack MVP stores saved packs in your browser using local storage. This means saved packs remain on that device and browser unless you clear them. RenterPack does not currently provide user accounts or cloud document storage.
Listing importing
When you paste a supported listing URL, RenterPack requests the public listing page so it can extract visible rental details. Some sites may block automatic importing. In those cases, you can paste listing text manually and review the extracted details before continuing.
No document verification
RenterPack does not verify your identity, income, employment, creditworthiness, immigration status, or rental application. It is a preparation and organisation tool only.
